Iron Ore Crushing

In the crushing and separation of iron ore, the investment in crushing equipment and grinding equipment, consumable loss and power consumption account for a large proportion. The design of the mineral processing process must be efficient, simple and economical. In the consideration of the crushing process design, the principle of "more crushing and less grinding" segmented crushing is followed. The main process adopted is: jaw crusher + coarse crushing cone crusher + fine crushing cone crusher + high pressure roller mill multi-stage crushing process.

According to the characteristics of iron ore, Chengdu Dahongli Machinery has launched a set of ore crushing production lines, which are mainly composed of: jaw crusher + cone crusher + high-efficiency impact crusher + circular vibrating screen + high-pressure roller mill, etc. Auxiliary equipment can be added according to specific customer needs: magnetic separator, dryer, dust removal equipment, feeding system, dust collection device, etc.
Process description:
1. Crushing section
The vibrating feeder feeds the gold ore raw material into the jaw crusher for crushing; the crushed material is sent to the cone crusher (coarse crushing) by the conveyor belt for crushing, and is transported to the vibrating sorting screen by the belt conveyor for screening. The stone that meets the particle size is then sent to the cone crusher (fine crushing) for secondary crushing, and the unsatisfactory material is returned to the cone crusher (coarse crushing) through the conveyor belt for re-crushing; the material coming out of the fine crushing cone crusher is also screened by the vibrating sorting screen, and the unsatisfactory material needs to be returned to the fine crushing cone crusher through the conveyor for re-crushing; the satisfactory material is sent to the high-pressure roller mill through the conveyor for grinding and crushing.
2. Grinding section
The iron ore material crushed by the crushing section enters the ball mill for re-grinding, which has met the material requirements of the subsequent process. The ball mill is usually combined with the classifier to form a grinding and classifying unit for operation. The ball mill grinds the processed material, and the classifier divides the grinding product into qualified material and unqualified material. Unqualified products are returned to the ball mill for re-grinding to improve the grinding process. The grinding operation of the classifier and the returned sand after classification constitutes a closed grinding section. The classification operation can be pre-classification, inspection classification, control classification or both classification operations.
3. Magnetic separation section
The ground iron ore powder enters the magnetic separator for sorting. The sorting section usually adopts a combination of strong magnetic separation and weak magnetic separation.
4. Drying section
The iron powder after flotation is sent to the dryer. The drying process in the mineral processing process is mainly to remove the moisture of the selected iron powder to obtain high-quality iron concentrate.
