Limestone
The main component of limestone is calcite, which is a compound with the chemical formula CaCO₃. It is a widely distributed mineral. Due to its hard texture and easy crushing, it has been widely used in highways, water conservancy and hydropower dams, airport runways, railways and urban construction materials.
The design of the limestone crushing production line needs to select different crushing processes according to the hardness of the limestone. Its crushing process can adopt a variety of crushing forms: 1. For soft limestone, you can use: jaw crusher + impact crusher + vibrating screen; or heavy hammer crusher + vibrating screen mode; 2. For hard limestone, you can use: jaw crusher + cone crusher/impact crusher + impact crusher + vibrating screen crushing process.
Limestone production line
With the continuous depletion of natural river sand and the requirements for high-grade concrete pouring, the demand for fine machine-made sand is increasing. Fine machine-made sand has become a new development direction and profit growth point for various sand and gravel yards, creating more value for customers while continuously improving the quality of sand and gravel. Based on years of practical experience, Dahongli Machinery has explored a complete set of machine-made sand production process to meet customers' stringent requirements for fine machine-made sand.
In the limestone sand making process, full sand making and semi-sand making production processes can be used. The specific process can be designed according to customer needs. This article recommends the machine-made sand process mainly for the full sand making process. That is: jaw crusher + impact crusher + high-pressure roller mill + vibrating screen. Auxiliary equipment can be added according to customer specific needs: sand and stone powder separator, wet mixer, dust removal equipment, feeding system, dust collection device, etc.
Part I: Coarse Crushing
The limestone raw material is fed into the jaw crusher by the vibrating feeder of the material table for crushing. The larger material is crushed to the feed size of the next process. The crushed stone is transported to the transfer silo by the conveyor belt for stacking.
Part II: Fine Crushing
The crushed material is fed into the conveyor through the bottom feeder of the transfer silo, and then sent to the impact crusher for fine crushing. The stone that meets the requirements enters the subsequent process for screening and cleaning, and the stone with too large particle size returns to the impact crusher for re-crushing.
Part III: Screening and Cleaning
The crushed material is sent to the circular vibrating screen by the conveyor belt for screening, and finished stone of different specifications is selected. The finished stone is stored in the finished product bin through the belt, and the finished sand is sent to the sand washing machine for cleaning; the material after the sand washing machine passes through the tailing sand recovery integrated machine, and is transported to the finished product bin by the finished product conveyor belt for storage; the wastewater of the production line enters the wastewater treatment system for recycling.
