Characteristics of granite


Granite is an igneous rock formed by the condensation of magma below the surface. It is a deep intrusive rock and mainly exists in the form of minerals such as quartz or feldspar. Because of its hardness and wear resistance, it is an ideal building material and has been widely used in building materials, roads, bridges, railways, airports and hydropower construction.

Granite crushing production line usually adopts a three-stage crushing process, namely: jaw crusher + cone crusher + high-efficiency impact crusher (sand making machine) + circular vibrating screen + tailings recovery integrated machine. With the continuous depletion of natural river sand and the requirements for high-grade concrete pouring, the demand for fine machine-made sand is increasing. Fine machine-made sand has become a new development direction and profit growth point for various sand and gravel yards. As an important physical indicator, sand particle grading plays a key role in evaluating sand quality and construction quality. While continuously improving the quality of sand and gravel, it also creates more value for customers. Based on years of practical experience, Dahongli Machinery has explored a complete set of machine-made sand production process to meet customers' stringent requirements for fine machine-made sand.

In the granite sand making process, full sand making and semi-sand making production processes can be used. Which process to use can be designed according to customer needs.

This article recommends the granite sand making production line process mainly for the full sand making process, namely:

Jaw crusher + cone crusher + high-efficiency impact crusher (sand making machine) + vibrating screen + tailings recovery integrated machine.

According to the specific needs of customers, auxiliary equipment can be added: sand and gravel powder separator, wet mixer, dust removal equipment, feeding system, dust collection device, etc.

Part I: Coarse Crushing

The raw materials are fed into the jaw crusher by the vibrating feeder for coarse crushing. The size of the jaw crusher outlet is adjusted to meet the feeding requirements of the subsequent crushing equipment. The crushed materials are sent to the transfer bin by the belt conveyor for stacking and are ready for subsequent processing. The bolted non-welded structure avoids the welding stress of the fuselage, the force is reasonable, and the safety and stability of the fuselage are improved; the optimized enlarged crushing cavity greatly improves the crusher output under unit energy consumption.

Part II: Fine Crushing

The materials are evenly fed to the conveyor by the vibrating feeder at the bottom of the transfer bin, and then the conveyor transports the materials to the cone crusher for fine crushing. The crushed materials enter the vibrating screen for sorting, and the oversize materials are returned to the cone crusher for re-crushing, and the qualified materials enter the impact crusher for shaping and sand making. Dahongli PYY series cone crusher PLC automatic control system, simple operation can control the entire crushing process in real time, improve efficiency and reduce labor, the layered crushing principle can greatly improve crushing efficiency and increase output while obtaining better particle shape.

Part 3: Shaping section

The material enters the high-efficiency impact crusher (sand making machine) for shaping and sand making to eliminate the internal cracks of the aggregate during the crushing process, and at the same time grind off the needle-like shape of the stone to obtain high-quality machine-made sand with reasonable fineness modulus, good grading, and more cubic shapes. The hydraulic adjustment device is stable and safe, improves efficiency, and multiple variables control the material fineness modulus. The passing rate of fine sand below 5mm can reach 58%, and the passing rate of fine sand below 10mm can reach 78%. The quality of sand is much better than that of ordinary sand making machines.

Part 4: Screening and Cleaning Section

The aggregates after shaping and making sand enter the circular vibrating screen for sorting, and aggregates of different specifications are separated. The finished stones are stored in the finished product warehouse through belts. The machine-made sand is washed by the sand washer and then enters the tailing sand recovery integrated machine for dehydration and recovery; the production line wastewater enters the sewage treatment system for recycling.

Strictly control the loss rate of fine sand and improve the fineness modulus of finished sand.
