Basalt
The colors of basalt are mostly black, dark brown, blue-gray and dark green. It is a dense or foamy rock formed by the cooling and solidification of magma from volcanic eruptions. In the geological rock classification, it belongs to magmatic rock (also called igneous rock). Basalt has the characteristics of strong corrosion resistance, high compressive strength, low crushing value, low wear resistance and water absorption, good asphalt adhesion, etc. It is an ideal construction material for railway transportation, highways, and airport runway construction.
The basalt crushing production line usually adopts a three-stage crushing process, namely: jaw crusher + cone crusher + impact crusher + vibrating screen. In actual application, the crushing process should be reasonably designed according to factors such as the basalt raw material situation, finished product requirements, output requirements, and site conditions.
Basalt production line
With the continuous depletion of natural river sand and the requirements for high-grade concrete pouring, the demand for fine machine-made sand is increasing. Fine machine-made sand has become a new development direction and profit growth point for various sand and gravel yards, creating more value for customers while continuously improving the quality of sand and gravel. Based on years of practical experience, Dahongli Machinery has explored a complete set of machine-made sand production process to meet customers' stringent requirements for fine machine-made sand.
In the process of basalt sand production line, full sand making and semi-sand making production processes can be used. The specific process can be designed according to customer needs. This article recommends the process of basalt sand production line mainly for full sand making process. That is: jaw crusher + cone crusher + high-efficiency impact crusher + circular vibrating screen. Auxiliary equipment can be added according to specific customer needs: sand and gravel powder separator, tailings integrated machine, dust removal equipment, feeding system, dust collection device, etc.
Part I: Coarse Crushing Section
The basalt raw materials are fed into the jaw crusher by the vibrating feeder of the material table for crushing. The larger materials are crushed to the feed size of the next process. The crushed stones are transported to the transfer bin by the conveyor belt for stacking.
Part II: Fine Crushing Section
The crushed materials are fed into the conveyor by the bottom feeder of the transfer bin, and then sent to the cone crusher for fine crushing. The stones that meet the requirements enter the subsequent process for shaping, and the stones with too large particles return to the cone crusher for further crushing.
Part III: Shaping Section
After the materials that meet the requirements enter the impact crusher, the centrifugal force is generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller, so that the materials rub and collide with each other in the crushing chamber, thereby eliminating the internal cracks and needle-like shapes generated by the materials during the crushing process, and the shaping effect has been achieved.
Part IV: Screening Section
The crushed materials are sent to the circular vibrating screen by the conveyor belt for screening. According to different material requirements, finished stones of various specifications are selected. Finished stones of various types are transported to the finished product warehouse for storage via belts, and finished sand is sent to the sand washer for cleaning; the materials that have passed through the sand washer pass through the tailings recovery integrated machine and are then transported to the finished product warehouse by the finished product conveyor belt for storage; the wastewater from the production line enters the wastewater treatment system for recycling;
